What are Uwell Coils?
“Uwell coils” covers the brand’s replaceable coil heads and integrated-coil pods made for Uwell kits and tanks. They’re engineered to balance flavour, vapour and longevity, with mesh options for faster ramp-up and steadier wicking. Many recent pods and coils are tuned using Uwell’s PRO-FOCS flavour testing process to help preserve e-liquid character draw after draw.
What are the key types?
You’ll find two main families. First, MTL-leaning coils and pods (often 0.8–1.2Ω) aimed at tighter, cigarette-like draws and 50/50 or nic-salt e-liquid explore our MTL area here: Manufacturer Mouth To Lung Coils. Second, sub-ohm coils (typically <0.6Ω) for airy RDL/DTL vaping and high-VG juices see our sub-ohm range here: Sub-Ohm Coils. The Crown series spans multiple resistances, while Valyrian coils are purpose-built for high-wattage tanks.
What is the best Uwell coils?
The “best” coil is the one matched to your device and your vape style. Crown users often prefer versatile mesh options for balanced RDL/DTL performance, while Valyrian users typically chase airflow and wattage for bigger clouds. Prioritise the coil that’s listed as compatible with your kit, then choose a resistance that suits your liquid and airflow preference.
Choosing the right Uwell coils
Check your device name, then pick the exact coil family it supports. Use higher resistances (≈0.8–1.2Ω) and 50/50 e-liquid for MTL, or lower resistances (≤0.6Ω) and high-VG for RDL/DTL. If you prefer no coil changes, consider integrated-coil pods; if you like to fine-tune, go replaceable coils. Prime new coils with a few drops of e-liquid and let the tank or pod sit before first use.
