Single 21700 or 18650 Battery
One of the biggest upgrades on the Aegis Solo 5 is support for both 21700 and 18650 batteries.
A suitable 21700 battery fits directly into the device and can provide increased capacity compared with many standard 18650 cells. If you already own compatible 18650 batteries, the supplied adaptor allows you to continue using them.
The battery is removable, so you can also carry a safely stored spare rather than relying entirely on USB charging during the day.

Battery safety: Always use a genuine high-drain cell from a reputable manufacturer with a continuous discharge rating appropriate for your chosen wattage. Never use a battery with a torn wrap or damaged insulation.
5W–100W Output with AS Chip 4.0
The GeekVape Aegis Solo 5 provides adjustable output from 5W to 100W, controlled by GeekVape's AS Chip 4.0.
This gives the kit enough power for the included Z XM sub-ohm coils while also allowing you to pair the mod with other compatible 510 tanks if your setup changes later.
Smart Mode
Smart Mode detects the resistance of your installed coil and guides the device towards a suitable power range. This is useful when changing coils because it reduces the chance of accidentally applying excessive power to a fresh coil.
Power Mode
Power Mode gives you direct control over wattage from 5W to 100W. This is ideal for experienced vapers who already know the output they prefer for their chosen tank and coil.
GeekVape Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5
The Aegis Solo 5 Kit includes the latest GeekVape Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5, designed specifically for high-powered DTL vaping.
Its top airflow structure draws air from above the tank, helping reduce the risk of e-liquid leaking through lower airflow openings. Airflow remains fully adjustable, allowing you to tailor the resistance of the draw while retaining an open direct-lung style.
The tank uses a standard 810 drip tip and GeekVape's Z Series mesh coils.
Push-to-Fill Top Cap
The Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5 uses a convenient push-to-fill top cap. Instead of completely unscrewing and removing the lid, slide or push the cap to expose the filling port.
This keeps the cap attached to the tank during filling, reducing the chance of dropping or losing it while making everyday refills quicker.
The UK TPD version has a 2ml e-liquid capacity.

The Solo 5 kit includes two Z XM Boost mesh coils, both designed for DTL vaping with higher-VG e-liquids.

0.2Ω Z XM Coil
The included 0.2Ω XM coil operates between approximately 70–80W. It produces the warmer vape and denser vapour of the two supplied coils and is ideal if you prefer a fuller DTL experience.
0.4Ω Z XM Coil
The included 0.4Ω XM coil operates between approximately 50–60W. It still provides a clear DTL draw but at lower power, making it a useful choice for balancing vapour production with battery life.

Which E-Liquid Should I Use?
As supplied with the Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5, the Aegis Solo 5 is designed primarily for DTL vaping.
We recommend pairing the included 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω coils with a higher-VG liquid such as a 70VG/30PG shortfill. Higher-VG liquids suit the larger wicking ports and higher operating wattages of sub-ohm coils.
Because DTL coils create significantly more vapour per puff, lower nicotine strengths are normally more appropriate than the higher strengths used in MTL pod systems.
Avoid using high-strength nicotine salts with the included high-powered coils.
Top Adjustable Airflow
The Z Sub-Ohm Tank 5 uses top adjustable airflow, allowing you to change draw resistance while helping minimise leaking from the lower section of the tank.
Open the airflow for an unrestricted DTL inhale and increased vapour production, or close it slightly for a more concentrated draw and warmer flavour.
1.08-Inch Colour Display
The Solo 5 features a clear 1.08-inch colour display with GeekVape's refreshed user interface.
Important information such as wattage, coil resistance and battery status can be checked at a glance, making the device straightforward to monitor during everyday use.
A-Lock & Button Lock
A physical A-Lock gives you a quick way to secure the Solo 5 when carrying or storing it. A visible status indicator makes it easier to confirm whether the device is currently locked.
