The OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods are 2ml refillable replacement pods designed to bring OXVA's latest UniTech 3.0 Dual Mesh technology to the VPrime platform. Available in 0.4Ω and 0.6Ω resistances, these pods feature built-in mesh heating elements, a convenient side-fill design and a multi-layer leak-resistant structure for clean and consistent everyday vaping.

OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods with UniTech 3.0
The biggest change with the OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods is the move to OXVA's newer UniTech 3.0 platform.
Rather than relying on a conventional single heating element, the VPrime Dual Mesh cartridges use a dual mesh arrangement designed to heat e-liquid quickly and evenly. OXVA has also revised the internal airflow and liquid-management system to help maintain consistent flavour and vapour throughout the life of the pod.
UniTech 3.0 is designed around improved liquid control, smoother airflow and greater resistance to leaking and condensation, making the pods well suited to regular everyday use.
0.4Ω vs 0.6Ω OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods
There are two resistance options available, allowing you to choose between a warmer, more open vape and a slightly more restricted RDL draw.

0.4Ω VPrime Dual Mesh Pod
Choose the 0.4Ω VPrime Dual Mesh Pod if you prefer a warmer vape, increased vapour production and a more open restricted-direct-to-lung or direct-to-lung inhale.
It is particularly well suited to high-VG e-liquids, including many shortfill e-liquids.
0.6Ω VPrime Dual Mesh Pod
The 0.6Ω VPrime Dual Mesh Pod provides a slightly tighter RDL inhale with lower vapour output than the 0.4Ω version. This makes it a good option if you want the performance of the VPrime platform without the more open draw of the 0.4Ω cartridge.
For this version, a 50VG/50PG e-liquid is generally the better match.
Eco and Boost Modes with the OXVA VPrime 2
When used with the OXVA VPrime 2, the Dual Mesh pods can take advantage of the device's Eco and Boost operating modes.
- Eco Mode: prioritises efficiency to reduce power consumption and provide a more restrained vaping experience.
- Boost Mode: prioritises performance for a warmer vape and increased vapour production.
This allows the character of the same pod to be changed from the device rather than having to swap between different coils.
What E-Liquid Should I Use with VPrime Dual Mesh Pods?
Choosing an e-liquid that suits your pod resistance will help produce better flavour and improve wicking performance.
- 0.4Ω: ideally suited to higher-VG and 70VG/30PG e-liquids at an appropriate lower nicotine strength.
- 0.6Ω: better suited to 50VG/50PG e-liquids and a more restricted RDL setup.
The VPrime system can be used with both freebase and nic salt e-liquids, but these are relatively low-resistance pods. Higher nicotine strengths are generally intended for lower-powered MTL devices, so make sure the nicotine strength and e-liquid ratio are suitable for the power level you are using.

OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pod Compatibility
The OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pods are designed primarily for the OXVA VPrime 2 Pod Kit and allow the device to make full use of its Eco and Boost operating modes.
They can also be used with the original OXVA VPrime Pod Kit. However, operating behaviour differs from the VPrime 2, so the full Eco and Boost mode functionality is specific to the newer VPrime 2 system.

How to Fill an OXVA VPrime Dual Mesh Pod
- Locate the filling port on the side of the pod.
- Open the silicone filling seal.
- Insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle into the filling port.
- Fill the pod carefully without overfilling it.
- Close the filling seal securely.
- If the pod is new, allow the e-liquid to fully saturate the wick before vaping.
- Insert the pod into your VPrime device.
- Check the detected resistance and device settings before vaping.
Correctly saturating a new pod before first use is important because vaping a dry coil can damage the wick and cause an unpleasant burnt taste.
When Should I Replace My VPrime Dual Mesh Pod?
The coil is built directly into each VPrime Dual Mesh Pod, so there is no separate coil to remove or replace.
You should consider fitting a fresh pod if you notice:
- A persistent burnt or unpleasant taste
- A noticeable reduction in flavour
- Lower vapour production than normal
- The pod struggling to wick correctly
- Persistent leaking after checking the filling seal
Pod lifespan varies depending on the e-liquid being used, power setting, vaping frequency and how well the pod is kept saturated.
